Thunder – Life lessons

“If I had been rude to you, would you have granted me this wish? Would you have told me that you have this magical gift?” asked Thunder.
“Thunder, in life, everything happens for a reason and everyone we meet is put in our lives for a purpose. We are meant to learn from every person we meet, good or bad. Some may stay for a minute, an hour, a day, or even a year. The time each person stays in our lives depends on how long it takes us to learn from them what we need to become better people. But to answer your question; no, I wouldn’t have granted you the wish had you been rude to me.”

The King’s Gift – Priceless

“Well, Tia, what gift do you have for your king?”
“I’m a poor rabbit, Your Majesty. I don’t have designer gifts to shower you with, nor do I have gold, silver, diamonds, or anything of that sort,” she replied.
“You mean to tell me that you dared show your face in my presence, in my palace, with no gift for me?”
“Your Majesty, I’m here to present to you my only valuable precious possession.”
“You are wasting my time; I don’t see anything on you that’s worth having,” the king said disappointedly.
“What I’m offering you can’t be seen with the naked eyes, Your Majesty. My gift to you is nothing else but my heart.”
“Your heart?” asked the king.
“Yes, my king,” Tia answered.
The king was overjoyed that Tia had given him what no other doe had thought of, something he had hoped and longed for, for years.
